BeanBot ("the Bot") is a joke Discord bot that simulates a fictional, entirely made-up in-server currency called "Beans." These Terms apply to any Discord server that adds the Bot.
The Bot posts randomized, intentionally nonsensical messages, tracks a fake per-server currency ("Beans") with no real-world value, and reacts to certain chat triggers (for example, the word "bro," someone saying "goodnight everyone," or the word "first"). None of this is meant to be taken seriously.
Beans are not real currency, are not redeemable for money or any good or service, and can be created, destroyed, taxed, or "hyperinflated" by the Bot at any time without notice. Any resemblance to a functioning economy is coincidental and unintended.
Don't use the Bot to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, to harass other users, or to attempt to abuse, exploit, or overload the Bot. The operator running this Bot instance may remove it from any server, or block any user from interacting with it, at their discretion.
The Bot is provided "as is," with no guarantee it will behave predictably, stay online, or preserve any Bean balances, achievement records, or other data. Given the Bot's entire purpose is to be confusing, none of its output should be relied upon for anything important.
These Terms may be updated at any time. Continuing to use the Bot after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
